Refugio Offers Horse camps from beginner to Advance throughout the school year and Following school releases. We focus on all aspects of horse care and riding. Pee Wee camp age ranges are 4 -6 and hours are 11-2 and basic camp ages 7-18 hours 10:00-3:00 Come join us for a week of fun filled horse riding and horsemanship! We offer week camps , daily camps as well as overnight weekend camps !
All forms are to be submitted a minimum of 1 week prior to camp.

8 slots per camp available $200 non refundable deposit is required to hold your child's camp spot . Pricing is $400 if you bring your own pony and $445 if you use one of our many equine friends and our equipment.
Each child should bring lunch each day and a snack (1 snack each day will be provided). Students will also need a reusable/ refillable water bottle (we have some for sale) if they forget and have filtered cold water available . Each student will need a change of shoes , clothes, bathing suit(weather permitting ) ,towel, bug spray, and sunscreen Daily for camp . Please have students arrive in pants (preferably riding breeches) and closed toe shoes (absolutely no Crocs or Rain Boots Allowed ) or boots each morning here is a link for boots. We do recommend you purchase your own helmet however it is not mandatory as we do have helmets available to use.

Camp begins at 10:00 and ends promptly at 3 (in the event of extreme heat camp may be moved to an earlier start time if applicable) each day as we begin teaching regular scheduled lessons immediately following camp release, please have students refrain from coming into the barn area early as we will be finishing with morning barn chores with the horses. Monday (first day of camp) each student will tye dye their shirt they purchased or brought so please dress in clothes that you don't mind getting stained ..
Address is 896 Yadkin rd Southernpines . We will have pizza or a potluck party on Thursdays So please bring a dish to share ! There will be a food sign up form on the first day of camp .
FYI : We have MERCH !!! T-Shirts, Hats ,and super cute camp bags for purchase if you have not already purchased one for camp. Raffle tickets are available and there will be a drawing on the last day of camp with fun prizes to include but not limited to horsey swag , money off future lessons, and camps . These are $5 a piece. Monday will be a very basic introductory day so we can get to know everyone and evaluate their skill level and comfort level for the week around the horses and we will Tye Dye our Refugio White camp shirts ( please inquire how to purchase these 2 weeks prior to your camp).
Tuition is to be paid the week prior to the first day of camp if not paid in full and registration forms are due 1 week prior to camp . Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We do have a fridge and microwave available for students .

We are still having renovations done at the farm putting in 2 new rings and a XC jumping area as well as additional pastures and it has been a very slow slow process .
Our gravel driveway is ready and if everyone could please park there for drop offs and pick ups we would greatly appreciate it . Please refrain from parking on the grass as we are trying to put in another pasture area and grow grass for the ponies . A sign will be posted for everyone. (By the mail box in the gravel driveway ) Thank you for your patience and understanding during this ridiculously long construction . Please feel free to ask any additional questions you may have .

All riders must sign a liability waiver and a consent form to ride or be on the premises. Camp registration forms must be sent in a week prior to camp . Shipping fee is a cc fee. Please Note all non tangible items such as services are non refundable. There are no refunds given for missed days of camp. All Deposits are non refundable and all services that are paid in full on the website, Venmo , or PayPal are non refundable. We do accept Venmo sent (Friends and family)
All purchases and deposits are non refundable. Camp is held rain or shine .. We will Offer credits towards another camp for future use if spacing is available on a case specific basis if we agree upon prior, that are due to emergencies with a proper notice and written consent .
