Refugio Offers Pony camps from beginner to intermediate throughout the school year . Following school releases and focusing on all aspects of horse care and riding. Pee Wee camp age ranges are 4 -6  and hours are 11-2 and basic camp ages  7-18 hours 10:30-2:30 Come join us for a week of fun filled horse riding and horsemanship! We offer week long camp , daily camps  as well  as overnight weekend camps !   All forms are to be submitted a minimum of 1 week prior to camp so child is eligible to be enrolled per our insurance  if we do not receive camp forms your  child's slot may be forfeited or a rush fee will be charged -( $65) will be added for rush processing .Camp dates are as follows

Spring break camp March 28-31          
 

SUMMER CAMPS    

June  10-13 with weekend camp following ..

July 15-18th with weekend camp following

August 5th-8th with weekend camp following .
8 slots per camp available  ** please read the disclaimer on refunds and cancellations **   $200 non refundable deposit is required to hold your child's camp spot .  Pricing is $350 if you bring your own pony and $400 +CC processing + taxes , if you use one of our many equine friends and our equipment.Camp registration forms are due a minimum of one week prior to camp, So we can send to our insurance company. Failure to due so will result in your spot being forfeit or a $65 rush fee will apply if applicable .. Students can not attend camp if forms are not filled out and sent back and they are not covered under our insurance policy . 

All riders must sign a liability waiver and a consent form to ride or be on the premises .                                                                                                                                                                           Please Note all non tangible items such as services are non refundable .There are no refunds given for missed days of camp.   All Deposits are non refundable and all services that are paid in full on the website  or via Venmo , PayPal , or cash app are non refundable. All purchases and deposits are non refundable.  Camp is held rain or shine .. We will Offer credits for future use on a case specific basis if we agree union prior that are due to emergencies with a proper notice and written consent . 

Please remember each child should bring lunch each day and a snack (1 snack each day will be provided ) .  Students will also need a reusable/ refillable water bottle  (we have some for sale) if they forget and have filtered cold water available . Camp begins at 10:30 and ends promptly at 2:30 each day  Monday -Thursday as we begin teaching regular scheduled lessons immediately following camp release . Please have students refrain from coming into the barn early as we will be finishing with morning barn chores with the horses. Monday each student will tye dye their shirt they purchased or brought so please dress in clothes that you don't mind getting stained .. our Address is 896 Yadkin rd southernpines . We will  also be having a pool noodle decorating contest for our potluck party and horse race on thursday . We will be having guest speakers as well through out the week  and a potluck party on Thursday so please bring a dish to share! (We do not have any allergies at this time, but I am still awaiting  and going through forms and will UPDATE everyone if we have ALLERGIES.  We are very excited and hope each one of you are too!!!  FYI :We also have t shirts, hats ,and bags for purchase if you have not already purchased one for camp and raffle tickets for fun prizes and money off future lessons and camps . These are $5 a piece.  Monday will be a very basic introductory day so we can get to know everyone and evaluate their skill level and comfort level for the week around the horses (students who have attended more then one camp will be "helpers" on Monday   . Tuition is to be paid the week prior to the first day of  camp if not paid in full and registration forms were due 1 week prior to camp .  Please let me know if you have any additional questions. We are still having renovations done at the farm  putting in 2 new rings and a XC jumping area as well as additional pastures . 
Our gravel driveway is ready and if everyone could please park there for drop offs and pick it ups we would greatly appreciate it . Please refrain from parking on the grass as we are trying to put in another pasture area for the ponies . I will have a sign posted for everyone. (By the mail box in the gravel driveway way 2 cars x2 and use the circle drive for exiting)  Thank you for your patience and understanding during this ridiculously long construction .  Please feel free to ask any additional questions you may have .
