Children and adult beginner to intermediate horseback riding lessons . We offer basic horsemanship lessons . We focus on the basics and work our way up. All students learn all aspects of safety first, horse etiquette,horsemanship, then riding . All our lessons are individual and one on one with the occasional group barn lesson so students can meet other peers .. Each students lesson slot is reserved for only them . Our program is paid as a Tuition at the beginning of the month in addition there is a minimum of a 6 month contract as it takes a least a minimum of 6 months to learn the basics and fundamentals of riding as well as the physical and skill requirements. We do require a 60 day written notice to terminate or change lessons after your initial 6 month contract. This is a great outdoor athletic after school or work activity. Our program is set up as a monthly tuition and this order will cover a month of lessons. Please keep in mind after your contract a 60 day notice is required to end lessons to find a replacement, as each one of our students is imperative in our operation and the well being of the horses . Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and late by the 5th a $35 fee Will be charged for all late payments on the 5th. If your lesson falls between the 1st and 4th you must pay Tuition prior to attending your lesson or that lesson is forfeited and can not be made up. We do not refund any missed lessons for any reason . If a lesson is canceled due to weather or on our end make up options will always be given . We only take on a certain amount of students and teach Private lessons to ensure we can focus only on each individual riders progression and learning so we do not have extra Lesson slots available . If a cancellation is not Given within 48 hrs or it is a no show that lesson is forfeited and will not be made up . We do only allow 1 makeup lesson per quarter (every 3 months ) unless agreed upon prior to missing the lessons . If a 48 hr notice is given we will try our best to make it up ... but please keep in mind we can only make up lessons if we have an available slot to put the student in or if we receive a cancellation. This order covers 4 lessons per month.
If for any (medical, deployment with proper documentation) we will waive the 6 month contract and honor a 2 month notice if a proper email is written to Refugio Farm Equestrian Center we will honor the date from when we receive the notice . Please remember that each students lesson slot is scheduled monthly and that time and day is reserved for only you or your child .. By purchasing and paying for this order via the website you are binding and agreeing to all RFEC terms ,conditions policies, procedures, contracts regarding cancellations,rescheduling , tuition, and terminations.
